What on Earth is Science Fiction?

Science Fiction, as I would define it, is any story told that has some type of made up science behind it. Science itself, is something I would define as a process of obtaining knowledge based on hypothesis and carefull observation. 

Science Fiction is on of my most favorite genres. It has made numerous, profound apperences in Television, Movies and even music. 

The limitless nature of nearly every popular Science fictional idea gives any story a seamingly limitless atmosphere. This can add lots of room for other genres to blend with an original story, thus giving it new bounds for a whole new level of entertainment.
